HI im back:D Thanks again everyone for asking after me dad, he seemed ok this afternoon and the now have him rigged up tp a moniter to moniter his BP and heart,, apprently the doc likes this done on all of them when they go in there. Couldnt sneak him outside cos it was peeing down, dont think he wanted to go anyway.

Chez,, yes! i do leave my hard drive plugged in... i will try that taking it off,,, can i just pull out the usb thingy, then put it in once computer is on?:-3

I finished MOST of what I wanted to get done today. Had a shower, fed and walked the dog, and did the grocery shopping, even with this oppressive heat and humidity we're having lately!

Gawd, Carol, there was a programme on TV the other night about nasty money lenders, being raided by the cops, cos they were outrageously profiteering - rippin off poor buggers left right and centre.
