It's over 80 F, 27 C in the house here, and all windows are open, curtains closed up to the window openings, and the fan on max ! There are still 2 or 3 hours to go before the temp. reaches it's max for the day ---- gawd !!

I hope everybody who ventures out puts on plenty of high value sun block ! Enjoy the day ! :-6

Just stopping by to say hello. We had thunder, lightning, and a hail storm last night. It poured so bad people had to pull of the roads. The only good part is that it has cooled down the temp. only 75 degrees here today with a nice breeze :-6 Hope you all are well and enjoying your day.

Hi TM, I bet that's a relief for you ! We're having a bit of a heatwave in the UK at the moment. Well possibly in the 80s isn't too desperate for you over there, but it is over here, and the humidity is high as well .............. as usual. You still have people out and about in the blazing sun with no sunblock on !!! It's the quickest way to get skin cancer ! :-5

IT IS SOOOOOOOOO HOT TODAY -------- it is 83 F in our living room, all windows wide open, curtains closed up to the window openings, 2 big fans going at full belt !

Outside it is 81 F, there is no breeze so it feels muggy and you break out in a sweat at the first step ! We have been informed that the temp. will fall tonight to 16-18 C that's about 67 - 69 F I think ! Apparently it will go on like this for a couple more days before there are a few showers (big deal). I've just looked out of the window and I see clouds bubbling up on the horizon, so you never know, there may be a thunder storm to clear the air later today.

Whatever comes out from the west, yes, I get it first. She's right on the coast line and it comes from the land. I haven't heard from my daughter yet, as I'm sure she has been slammed from this system. It was really bad.

This storm was a doosy....lots of thunder, lightning and rain...oh, and it also hailed here...

also wondering why we have so many mods...
