Mike and I did the cats nails today.....omg....you should have seen Jack, he just kept lunging at me...put a towel over his head.:sneaky:

The flea stuff is easy to put on them...now Cody's nails are a whole different story. You see, the Great Pyrenees have 2 dew claws on each rear foot...and he hates them being touched, but since they sit up so high, they never get worn down by walking and they are almost to the pads, so I have no choice but to cut them. I hate doing it. :-5:-5

Ok, flea stuff on all 3, and Cody's nails cut...he didn't like it a whole lot, but he kinda behaved...at least for him. I think he's getting to the point that he lets me do them by myself than having help from others by holding him down. I even got a load of laundry in...I really need some clean clothes!!! :wah:

cats flea stuff is easy......one drop on their neck...done

its expensive, its from our vets....but it works.

at least you can clip Codys nails on your own.

Yeah, the dogs are just putting it on their necks too, so it's easy, and they love the taste of their heartworm meds so that's easy too.

I can only cut some of Cody's nails before he freaks out! So I do the worst ones first...like those rear dew claws. :wah:

Yeah, it's really weird with Cody's breed...they have 2 rear dew claws on each rear foot! When we first got him, we thought it was a defect...but it's actually the breed standard. Weird eh? I've tried waiting til he's in a deep sleep, but he wakes up right away and freaks out....so it's better to do them when he's awake. He still freaks out, but not as bad. :wah:

ooooooo, I love the little ones! They're so cute...and it makes it easier to eat the cake first and then the frosting! I may be an old grandma, but I still play with my food. :wah:
