i usually shop in somerfields cos its within walkin distance, morrisons is a taxi ride away, tescos and asda are an hours car journey away :-2

they've just turned down, yet again, an application for an asda here.

dont they realize more people would come into town if there was a sensible supermarket here.

theres plans going on for 500 new homes on the fields were i take the dog !! i bet not all the people who will be living in them will have cars.

Happy Day's Are Here Again

[Music and Lyrics by J. Yellen and M. Ager]

So long sad times

Go long bad times

We are rid of you at last

Howdy gay times

Cloudy gray times

You are now a thing of the past

Happy days are here again

The skies above are clear again

So let's sing a song of cheer again

Happy days are here again

Altogether shout it now

There's no one

Who can doubt it now

So let's tell the world about it now

Happy days are here again

Your cares and troubles are gone

There'll be no more from now on

From now on ...

Happy days are here again

The skies above are clear again

So, Let's sing a song of cheer again

Happy times

Happy nights

Happy days

Are here again!
It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice.

Hi everybody ! Just poppin in to show me face. Hope you all have a good day and I hope the sun is shining where you are (except Hope, who's praying for rain !). Had a few (few ???!!!) problems to deal with here which has set me back loads, time wise, so must get on and try to catch up, else we won't manage to get off on hols. till later on Saturday. We're aiming to leave home to pick up the caravan at about 8 am on Saturday. Can only do me best. The others are fetching the van over to give it a good wash, and to load as much stuff as possible today, so we don't have over-loaded cars (Andy is driving his turbo-charged whistle !). I'll try and catch you later, take care XXX

When he was about done shopping, a man came up and said, 'Your fly

Is open.' He zipped up and finished his shopping.

At the checkout, he intentionally got in the line where the lady

Was that told him about his 'barracks door.' He was planning to

Have a little fun with her; so when he reached the counter he

Said, 'When you saw my barracks door open, did you see a soldier

Standing in there at attention?'

The lady (naturally smarter than the man) thought for a moment and

Said, 'No, no I didn't. All I saw was a disabled veteran sitting on

A couple of old duffel bags. :wah::wah::wah:

Did you ever wonder why earrings became so popular with men?

A man is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an earring.

The man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow and is curious about his sudden change in "fashion sense"

The man walks up to him and says, "I didn't know you were into earrings."

"Don't make such a big deal, it's only an earring," he repli es sheepishly.

His friend falls silent for a few minutes but then his curiosity prods him to ask, "So, how long have you been wearing one?"

"Ever since my wife found it in my truck."

A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in their bed.

She puts on her dressing gown and goes downstairs to look for him.

She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a hot cup of coffee in front of him. He appears to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall.

She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of his coffee.

"What's the matter, dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room, "Why are you down here at this time of night?"

The husband looks up from his coffee, "I am just remembering when we first met 20 years ago and started dating. You were only 16. Do you remember back then?" he says solemnly.

The wife is touched to tears thinking that her husband is so caring, so sensitive.

"Yes, I do" she replies.

The husband pauses. The words were not coming easily.

"Do you remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car?"

"Yes, I remember!" said the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.

The husband continues. "Do you remember when he shoved the shotgun in my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter, or I will send you to jail for 20 years?"

"I remember that too" she replies softly.

He wipes another tear from his cheek and says...

"I would have been released today:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I was having trouble with my computer. So I called Richard, the 11 year old next door whose bedroom looks like Mission Control, and asked him to come over.

Richard clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.

As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong? He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.'

I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, 'An, ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'

Richard grinned.... 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?'

'No,' I replied. 'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'

So I wrote down: I D 1 0 T ... I used to like the little ******!!!!!!!:-5:sneaky:
