Afternoon, suns been cracking the flags here today...hot hot hot.

Been and bought scrappy a new bed for his hols:-4

ran around all afternoon and im knackered now.

Gonna pack tomorrow.

despite the weather forecast of thunder and heavy rain, we've had TWO good days, hope it gets better for you though saturday is supposed to be nasty,

do you know if you will get down this way ? its about an hours drive from where you are.

Well im not going to have a car when hubby comes home, hes got too much work on and so hes taking us down and staying a couple of nights then coming back home, dunno when hes coming back except he has reassured us he will come back for us:wah::wah::wah::wah:Bloody great eh and I dunno how to change the toilet waste:-3..Looks like me and the kids will sleep in the caravan cos im not sleeping in the awning on meself:-3

It's 2 pm and I'm still in jammies drinking tons of coffee:wah: Had to hide before....the landscapers just came to do some weeding...didn't want them to see me in me glory:-3

Me and the girls just had a lovely walk with Scrappy, hes knackered now its still really hot here and he ben rabbit chasing up the fields lol...Never catches them thankfully but loves to chase:-4

did you say your dog had a bit of springer in him ?? if he has, im sure he must be related to mine!! cos he chased a rabbit tonight and actually TROD on another one. dont know which one of them was more surprized................. specially as said bunny was sitting by a golf ball which is one of wallys other hobbies. he collects them and we now have 16.

needless to say catching and killing the golf ball was top priority so the rabbit stuck two fingers up at him and shot into the hedge.:wah:

Hi Kaz, Carolly, Kathy, Helen, Chezzie and all the Foxes.

I had a lovely day yesterday. Got to talk to Mik in London (he'd been out playing poker, bad boy!!... London is an evil place :sneaky: leading my little boy astray. He won!). Also spoke to Romy in Paris. She said it's getting autumny there now, which is a nice change from the usual August heat. Only problem, most Parisians are holidaying, out of the city (it's full of tourists) and that includes all the bakeries between her apartment and her workplace. So the poor wee one is croissant-less in the morning. France without bread for brekkie, c'est un scandale!!!!

Relax Kathy!!! I'm willing you a period of s p a c e ... an empty house for a few days and time to lie on the beach and just dream.

It looks lovely here, Kaylene, but I can see from my window that the birdbath water is frozen. I like the cold, but preferably when it's bright and not windy. Those gale-torn bleak dark days, leaden sky and chill right through one's bones - you can keep.

Just caught up with reading back ! Hi you load of gas bags ! Sorry it will have to be a blanket hello, cos I just haven't the energy to say hi individualy. Crikey that's a big word for me in my state of knackeredness !

I cannot begin to tell you of the traumas we've had this week, at one point I was beginning to wonder if we were actually going to get away for our holiday !! grrrrrrrr

It is still a bit in the balance cos now our car is at the mechanics, but should be OK sometime tomorrow. No I am not pushing a bloody 4 berth caravan 120 odd miles !

Oh, and to really put the icing on the cake and was nearly the last straw -- the flamin washing machine lost its spin mode ffs the other day, so I had to take a lot of stuff to the launderette, in the car. I can't tell you what else has happened, but it sure has been traumatic. I nearly shot meself at least four times ffs !!!! All I can say is this holiday had better be bloody good, with kind weather, else I probably really will shoot meself grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :-5 :rolleyes:

Thanks Kay, me little koala, with all the hassles and problems that have been bombarding us, I haven't really got too excited about it, cos it's been a bit touch and go !

However, if all goes a little better tomorrow, fingers crossed, we should be off on our way early Saturday ---- then I shall feel more in the holiday mood :-6

Now, as it is nearly 1.30 am and I have another early up in the morning, I shall wend my weary way up the apples and pears to Bedfordshire ! :yh_sleep

i'm now carting clothes next door to my mom's to wash until i can get chance to get to town and get a new one!

i'm just so tired you guys, and i was struggling last night to unhook some irrigation pipe that were really heavy because they were full of water, and i now have a backache! i think i hurt myself! :-1

I hurt myself today too:-1 was cleaning the house and twisted my knee so its all swollen now:(

Getting a 2 day old baby girl this afternoon who is only 4lbs. Dont know why they let them out of hospital so early:-5

It turned out a lovely sunny day today...the breeze was a bit chilly but got all my washing dry

Hope to get back on later.

yeah over here 4lbs is the limit, they will let babies out of the hospital if they are 4lbs or larger i think!

if that was me, id get in the car tomorrow and say to hell with the lot of it and go away and forget all about stuff til you come home, though i know some of it cant be forgotton !! you might be more rested and able to deal with it all when you get home again. XX

sorry about the knee, it can be painful, i know.

they dont keep babies in for long these days, a lot are out within just a few hours , not like the ten days we had to stay in years ago but she must be healthy, otherwise they wouldnt let her go so soon.

Well the baby has arrived...she wasnt 4lb she was 4kilo....she is an islander..lovely olive skin and black hair...sooooooooooo cute:-4
