my daughter went in a shop down town a while ago to get a portion of chips, the guy produced a 5lb bag of frozen chips from lidels ( 65p at the time ) and charged her £1-60p. she wouldnt pay it and i cant say i blame her !!

i used to love the rain on the roof when i lived in a caravan for a while. what wasnt so good was when my neighbour would throw bread on the roof and i'd have about 200 seagulls fighting over it at first light !!:rolleyes:

my mum always said she wanted to go in a home when she got older and incapable of looking after herself. she didnt want to be a burden to us !! of course none of us wanted her to.

sadly i was spared that battle with her and battle it would have been too !!

I'm jacked these last few days...back to work setting up the classroom for school soon. I've gone so lazy this summer....and it's hard moving furniture and lifting heavy things....geeze, the auld bones are not what they used to be....last night I fell asleep about 7 pm.... I was thinking about you Helen lifting those heavy bags of spuds with no help:mad:
