FG meet up!

Yeah we get snow up here.....where are you going to be living over here? it gets milder (generally) as you go south......

I should be in the London area. Aylesbury is the goal.

Guess it was kind of quick. Getting the ancestry paperwork in order was the stressful bit. Once that was done it was the first cheap flight out I could get. Bags have been packed for almost a week. lol

We were kind of revising it for January....

January is probably better. More time to figure out where the heck I'm going to live and get settled.

I'll drive backwards on the wrong side of the road to wherever you say.

I'll stop digging now!

We've done London already, it's a long old slog from Cornwall, not that I mind but it's just the M25, what a nightmare!

I think my braincells have gone to sleep for the night, what are you referring too? :-2

I'm pretty sure spot will be there as well.

He mentioned something about how heritage places can be rented. It would be fun to come up with something unusual for location. Then again. I know nothing. I'm not even there yet.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edale just came up in conversation, as far as a January meet is concerned. Has anyone walked there on Kinder Scout besides me?

We are going to try to book up to go to St Lucia in January but if we're around then that'd be cool. :)

I'm hopeless at figuring out counties and such at the moment. Sometimes it's Aylesbury, sometime Buckinghamshire sometimes Bucks & Berks...

As it happens, Koan, Aylesbury is not that far from where I live either. I'd give it 45 mins from my little village. We should have a Koan Has Arrived Welcoming Committee, just for the sake of having one.:D :-6

It's usually quoted as Beds, Bucks and Berks as they're all interlinked

It is derived from Berkshire Hunt. I'll leave you to work out the rhyme.:D
