so what's up?? So far so good here. Some parts of coastal La. are all ready flooding. Cameron Parish/county. where Rita did so much is getting flooded again. 4 feet of water in the court house. highest point in that area. still are recovering from Rita. we are about 2 hours N/E of there.

looking at the yard. just have no clue where to start. the mess we have will take a LONG time to clean up. Lost MANY plants and young trees i planted this past year. also FEMA will they help us. Couldn't afford one more bill. But we are alive some are worse off. STOP SY stop feeling sorry for yourself:mad:

you have a right to feel sorry for yourself, you have been thru hell and now a major cleanup wouldn't make me happy one bit!



You have lost plants and trees, they are expensive and it must just be overwhelming to see such a disaster.

i had a friend send me palm tree seeds just last week.. lot's of them and i'd be willing to share:)

SOOO SWEET. but so much to clean up. Won't be until spring until i get all trees down, that need to come down. we have about 40 trees on our land. Hubby wants all the BIG ONES DOWN. So we never have to go through this again. will only plant short fruit trees or bushes. nothing around or near our home. the kindness i have found here. is unbelievable

Oh yes, we will all send you seeds to plant in the spring, you will have the prettiest yard there next year!

did some yard work this morning. but now it is raining. still getting effects of IKE. but not windy. we could get about 3to5 more inches. before all said and done. But like i said we really lucked out. no complaining here. Not today anyway:wah:

does anyone live in the Chicago area or northwest IN?? lots of basements are flooding. due to a front and the remainder :(of IKE.

it will hit us tonight, major rain and flooding.
