My 14 yr old called me an a$$hole last night because I wouldn't let her skip a day!:mad: Claimed that I said she could take off...um, no I didn't. Guess who is grounded all week. She practically begged me today to go out with her friends claiming "I'll do anything". I'm thinking to myself, try apologizing..nope she didn't do it. Instead she cleaned her room and emptied the dishwasher....still protesting the "unfair" treatment:wah:. "Oh, ok I says to her and your treatment of me was not unfair? Still waiting for that stubborn mind of hers to apologize.

We've had weeks of the main route to Newlyn being closed, caused mayhem and the school run would take half an hour instead of ten minutes. In January they are closing a bridge the other side of the prom for three months, will be great fun!

Sounds like my kind of place. My once favorite bar in my town was called "The Pits". It was. You had to hang onto your drinks with both hands or the roaches would carry it off. There was no door on the men's rest room. But, the bar maids liked me. I never had to order a drink. Soon as they saw me walk in they would pour out a shot of JD and draw up a beer. The place got closed down after the last shooting. It's got new owners now but the bullet holes are still in the walls. They cleaned it up and even put a door on the men's room. Just ain't the same no more.

You would love Frank's. It's a ritual in these parts to go down to Dirty Frank's but you need to hold onto your beer and not see it go off with someone else.:wah: Every walk of life hangs out there and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference:wah:

She made several accusations that as a card holder, I should have been more careful?

After I talked with her supervisor about her attitude, she then apologized.
