Hi Ducky and Odie:-6:p

Flip it anyway...tomorrow is Friday, and it's supposed to be 70F. I'm leaving behind my woes and going to the beach tomorrow as long as it's not windy.

I'll bring lunch, a book and a glass of vino and just chill out and get my groove on.....woohooo;):yh_rotfl

Just a few ocean scenes to hang up on my walls....:D

This is a picture of Gweedore, Donegal...home of my Dad's. We rented a caravan here when we were kids and spent fabulous, fun-filled times along the strand.

I still spend time here at the rellys and revisit my haunts. If you look past the ship on the beach to the mound beyond...that's where we would explore and find all sorts of seashells and adventures.

I know every rock and winding turn at this beach. It's enbedded in my heart. I adore this area and always remember it with love:-4

Hey KE, was thinking of you today near the ocean. Even though it was cloudy/sunny and very humid...still is. There is a storm approaching tonight with 60mph winds, etc. Batten down the hatches.:-3

Hello Ducky,

I was thinking about you also. I was just reading the New Jersey magazine and they had an article about "100 Shore Things to Do." There was a blurb about Moreys Pier and Weird Week in Ocean City. I'm putting the magazine in the mail for you this week.

It has not been nice here today. The whole ocean is full of fog that's moving westwards. It's dismal today. Hope this next storm tomorrow is not too bad.

Been thinking about you since Friday...wasn't around that day...working on my herbs & tomatoes. I'm growing basil, parsley, thyme, rosemary, oregano & chives. My tomatoes are growing...I put them all in containers out on the front porch where there they will get about 7 hrs of :-6. Neighbors are "wondering" about my little garden:sneaky:. My other neighbor Tito is growing corn!:-6

Oh Ducky, you lucky girl. I really miss my garden but not all of the work. I'm going to plant a small garden in pots and put them on a table and in a wagon. It's the best I can do right now.

You have to bring some of your tommos and herbs when you come "down the shore":wah:

No, Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid is a really old movie from the 40s with WIlliam Powell and Ann Blyth. It is a lovely, old-fashioned movie:-6

Splash is a story about a mermaid who comes ashore with legs and meets a man that she met when they were children.

I'm going to watch Sea People maybe tomorrow. I love mermaid movies because of Mr. Peabody.

:wah::wah: Oh your hubs does not have a blanket on, does he.

You should have heard the roar of the ocean on Friday. It was so loud and lovely...

Morning Kathy - well actually it's evening here, but probably not where you are! I thought of you yesterday when exploring the area of first free Irish settlement in Sydney. Each Saturday I try and do a walk around a different neighbourhood, and yesterday was Surry Hills turn. Interesting.
