Oh they do help believe me:D. They are still in hot water over something that happened in the winter and the thing had to be replaced. Oh, yeah, they are still feeling the heat on that one:D. I figure they'll be indentured till 2015. But really, they do have to take their laundry up and put it in the drawers among other things. They really hate unloading the dishwasher though. I never do that job.

Ya know Hope, it must be sheer pleasure to actually be able to see the stars at night. We can see them, but with all the lights around it's really hard to see them. My mom grew up in the country and we used to go there when we were little and it was soooo cool to see those stars, it felt like you could touch them.

It's great, the sky sometimes here at night is so beautiful i can's describe it!

I loved growing up here i could run and yell and play as loud as i wanted without the slighest worry of disturbing any neighbors. I used to go outside any time of night alone and felt perfectly safe.

My mom says the same thing. Oh, I loved going up there to her house with all my cousins. Really miss those days. It's so weird, my one neighbor has this super spot light that we had to tell him to tone it down, cause it was keeping my little ones awake at night. The guy is completely paranoid.:)

I'm not in the city, but very close to it. I'm close enough to the woods where my back yard is pitch black at night. My paranoid neighbor with his spot light is always telling me that he sees skunks, raccoons, owls and other night animals in my backyard. Guess what? I love it.

yeah, well we asked him to tone it down a bit, but of course he has completely nothing in his backyard and I'm the one with toys, lawn crap, etc. Maybe the raccoons are coming over to sit on the deck, what do I care?

hehehehe.......throw some chopped up hot dogs over in his yard one night to freak him out, when he actually SEES what goes bump in the night! :sneaky: :wah:

Coons are harmless....they're just lookin' for something to eat and the females are giving birth at this time of year.

Unfortunately, he has this pita dog who is I think more paranoid than he is:wah:, my kids are always teasing the dog and he freaks out on me to "mind your children, blah, blah, blah. But he really doesn't have a leg to stand on, cause if that dog bites anybody, he'll be in more trouble than that raccoon going through my trash can at night.:wah:

In other words, we live near a park/woods. There's night animals and they are going to come out at night and do what they normally do and if that means they're going to go rooting through your trash cans..........uh duh! Comes with the territory.

X-actly! You're actually in their backyard. ;)

Want them to stay out of your garage....put some moth balls in your cans and on top your bags.

You wouldn't want to live in my backyard! Have more movin' here than just a coon or owl. :wah:

Yeah, but isn't it neat to just hear them moving about? I can't wait till June and the paranoid neighbor is going down the shore to get this............a campground in the middle of nowhere. His claim to fame so far has been "my dog get's along with everyone down there". LMAO. Well, so far everytime he takes that pest for a walk, he has a mouthpiece on it.

Nighty night Hope. Sweet dreams and don't any bats into the house.

Mustang, yeah, I love seeing those little yellow eyes. My mom grew up in the country and we used to go up all the time, plus my cousins grew up there. I'm used to it. Also, I love the smell of barns and what comes with them.:wah:

No but he doesn't mind the smell of a farm, but he doesn't really know what it smells like. I can still remember the smell, so when we go on a ride through the country side, I can smell it and remember it and it's always so nice. Love the smell of honeysuckles too.

Like I said, he doesn't mind it and the kids don't either. Must be in the blood. What does my my skin boil is when they build houses near mushroom farms and then people from the city move in and complain about the "smell". Such babies. I can't understand, didn't they "smell it" before they bought the house. Duh! They have actually had lawsuits against farmers in the next county because of this "smell". They've lost so far. Unfortunately, it's just a matter of time IMO.

I say we all move down to Hope's farm and I think we'll all be happy. I just love the smell. I knew it was Spring the other night by the way of a skunk. Doesn't bother me in the least. I like it but of course, not if I'm next to it:wah:. My pc is down in the basement of my house and a skunk must have been outback and he "let go". The smell evaporates, big deal, but I still like it.:) Peppy LaPue is alive and well living somewhere in my back yard.:D

Laura would sooner die than have a skunk near her:wah:. As for the other rugrats, umm, don't know, but I would bet on the dollar that Quin would gather them around him and he would have me right there. Very friendly with animals.
