I just love to learn! If I can glean one new fact from each day's quiz, I figure I'm ahead. But it is frustrating to have questions which are impossible to know anything about unless you've either studied it or lived it.

I take issue with one of the sets of answers & its validity. I'm going to report it. Then I think I'd better read up on Islam.

You come home afer a long and boisterous party, looking the worse for wear. As you stagger off to bed, your dear mate says "Look what..."?..(the cats dragged in)
I just had a blue with bluey, fair dinkum, I thought he was true blue, but he's madder than a cut snake!' What have you just overheard? (Someone has had a fight with a friend)
I've just been robbed by a one armed bandit!' What's this Aussie talking about?(He just lost on the poker machines)
Green leafy vegetation, that can be grown indoors or out, and has a rather rainforesty look? (fern)

I don't know how you can say the words. You're a child of Marshall McLuhan, Jefferson Airplane, Timothy Leary and The Summer of Love. We're making it happen, man, we're not tag-wrestling.

Haggai, I fear, figures prominently in the politics of the modern Middle East. It was he who conveyed God's demand that the Jews rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. It wasn't a Good Idea.
