That's a rhetorical, or smart-ass question, right? You're not serious? In case you are, uhh....no, obviously he was not on the phone while he was getting mugged. WTF does that have to do with it?

Slick did get jumped, but the pretenses he brought Bullet into it were false. Someone had tuned him up, and taken his money, but it was a drug deal gone bad, which Bullet would not have involved himself in had he been aware.

And it's "Bullet" not "Bullit."
