I get a pile once a week, on a Monday morning. But that's probably me...I unwisely messed around with my settings.

Monday Morning...... still not receivig e mail notifications.. Normally it would say reply from BR reply from Acc reply from Theia. I feel like Im in Siberia........

I haven't recieved e-mail notifcations for ages, since I disabled that feature in my options, because it was becoming so annoying. Would get about 30 e-mails a day back then. I thought I was so popular, but sniff no. :wah:

If you dont get notified.. how do you know your posts have been responded to?

Well if I'm around, then I will look at all the new posts that have been made, especially if they are on a thread that I have just posted on. If I'm away and want to know whether someone has replied to something I said yesterday, then I will type my name into the search and see if anything comes up.

Hehe no problem, always glad to be of help. One tip, when u are asked for how you want the results displayed, I'd advise to select as posts, rather than threads, that way you can see exactly what was said, rather than having to find out yourself.

Stalking yourself, that is an interesting thought. I think I'll stalk over to my little 'frig for the first diet coke of the morning.

I click 'My Settings'. If there's a thread that I've subscribed to (posted in) that has new posts, it'll be listed there. Then I just click on the litte green frog/clover thing, and Bob's yer uncle.

I just use the "ignore list" that way you don't see any of the posts of the person you want to ignore. Works like a charm!:D

I've stopped receiving e mail notifications too. I've checked the Options in My settings and it's still set to instant notification. Havent had one since 00.29 on March 12. Bit of a drag losing your prompts

Sadly, my first reaction was imagining someone jumping on every post by a member they disliked to attack whatever was said.

Into my settings, change from immediate notification to daily, change back, save changes.

Two minutes later they all arrived

ahhh some times feathers get ruffled but we all kind of chip in and smooth it out and things settle. Kind ebbs and flows really. Nice thing is our admin stand watch and leave the flow to us members and it works well. Good working concept really. But believe me we have had some bannings because some folks have got right nasty but admin watches out to make sure they don't let it get ugly.

Stalking? In FG? Well, there are lots of posters here who I read every word they write. Sometimes I reply, sometimes I don't. There are also posters I avoid like the plague.

But I follow the posters that I appreciate out of just that: appreciation for their words and insight. I hope they don't consider that stalking, and to me, stalking has a creepy sound to it, like you're doing something wrong. If you're following but not harassing, I don't consider it stalking at all.

I'm a stalker, just haven't picked a prey yet. Hmmmmmm who is it gonna be :wah:

oops clarification the admin let the small kafuffles happen and then they step in if they get ugly. Really they don't "big brother" us

Tombstone replied to me.... said he hadnt had any other reports of the problem. Tonite I had 117 notifications.
