What you actually wrote was "i hate fu*king child killers. ". As I am multilingual and at present am thinking in both Hebrew AND English (writing one, listening to the other on the radio) I tend to read what has been written literally.

I of course knew what you intended but for a moment in time ---.

I'm glad you cleared that up golem. I was about to tear you a new ass. What you mean is that, how you read it, LC was having sex with child killers. So if she'd written it, "I f*cking hate child killers" you would not have been able to read it the way you did. I get it now. It's not that funny, and I'm not sure how LC's gonna respond, but it makes some warped, weird kind of sense to me now.

That’s the problem with language. And as for semantics ---

“Time flies like an arrow, fruit flies like a banana” actually makes perfect sense, but for a moment ---- !

It’s not so bad after you’ve been immersed in a particular language for a few days and are thinking in that language alone but when you’re either not yet fully thinking in that language, or worse yet thinking in two as I am at present it can get silly.

To be pedantic --- firstly the ‘E’ in ‘English’ should always be capitalized.

But the sentence ----

’fu*king’ followed ‘hate’ and both words are verbs. Although often used as an emphasis or even as in this case as an adverb it is gramatically incorrect.

A word that is to be used as an adverb or an adjective is never a word that is a verb or the sentence becomes ambiguous.

As regards child killers, I unreservedly agree but offer an even worse example - the use of a child or other young person as am explosive weapon to kill others.

I can't believe that LC has been banned. But it must be so as I can't find her name in the Members' List. This is a very sad loss.
