Hmmm...well, that's the way I feel. My parents taught me that it was low class to sleep around. I thought everyone knew that. Go figure.

They were kind of anachronistic, though. They believed that a man and a woman shouldn't have sex until they were married. Something about "decency" or some other outmoded concept. LOL!:D

To the person who started this thread: I would mention it once in a non-judgemental tone what others are/might be saying, then leave it alone.

As for me, Ive had my fair share of one night stands but they were always with married men so they wouldn't talk (saves reputations ya know) and never wanted anything more. Hope Jives isn't too disappointed.

No one is saying he cant have his own opinion. I just pointed out that he was rude and insensitive saying it was low class especially after not one but TWO people said they had one and ended up marrying them. Wouldnt it have been more polite to say something like:

"I was brought up to believe that they were wrong and had a negative impact."

Instead of :degrade, demean, low class, etc.
