:wah: He took Nomad away with him, one was enough!

How come I envision Charles Heston all of a sudden?

Would you pose for a picture in a grass skirt? I think you'd look great in one.

Love is waiting for the one or two smiles a day I get from my husband.

Love is waiting for him to one day become well enough to say my name.

Love is knowing he can not be who he was, but I know. So I love him for who he was, not how he has become.

Does it conquer all?

Well, when I work alot and get tired, I know who it is for.

When the bills come or something happens I normally cannot do, I have to figure it out.

When I get very little sleep, because he keeps popping in and out of his bed all night-that will hopefully end in a few weeks if the radioactive pill works-I know I must do these things.

Because, it is love.

Chonsi, that was beautiful:-4

I hope so, but If it doesn't ...it sure helps us through the tough times. :-4

I think it does but I'm an old romantic deep down.

Chonsigirl, those words were beautiful and heartfelt.

I'm sending my love and my strength to you and your husband.

Oh, I think I got mad last week at school. I was packing up my stuff to move to another classroom. I was packing my old violin-it was my first one-I kept it at school for sentimental reasons and to let one student a year who couldn't afford one to use it all year long. One of the "bad" boys picked up my box to move it, and intentionally grabbed the neck of the violin-and he broke it. Crack. Oh, my heart broke, it was old and didn't play well, but I had waited until I was 26 to learn how to play it. I had always wanted to. I did yell at him, "Why did you do that!" He just smirked.

We shall fix it this summer, my friend and I. So someone else can use it. It might even play better then.

Oh Chonsi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How awful. My muso heart bleeds.. My son made a short film recently which involved breaking a violin. Sure it was a cruddy cheapie, with no history, bought specially to be broken but it was still a musical instrument - with potential - I couldn't bear that part.

Missed you six, for you, I am posting the poem with the StarNation in it.

The Musical Magician

The arid dust blew off the desert,

Never ceasing for ages unknown.

The soft trill of the flute’s notes flutter,

Proceeding the magician’s pure tone.

The soaring pueblo lies before him,

The melody luring each creature

From their afternoon fast from the heat.

Gaze upon this mystical teacher.

The people draw him close to the fire

Where he rests while partaking of food

Kokopelli smiles at the people

All thirsty creatures he does include.

As the night embraces their closeness

Under the Great Star Nation above,

Kokopelli starts to play for them

Shining musical prayers of his love.

The cool rush of mountain air descends,

Twirling between notes that touch the fire.

Kokopelli continues his song

The need for rain to flow he inspires.

“Grab every vessel, and bring it

Outside, the rains will begin quite soon.”

He continues to caress the flute

Playing prayers to the gods in his tune.

Everyone scrambles, his word obeys.

Anxious lines of painted pots nestle.

Await the blessings of the heavens

The people become living vessels.

A whirlwind forms out of mountain air

Blowing the burning embers of fire

Upward, where the Cloud People appear

The flames growing higher and higher.

The Thunderers call out for the rain

To begin, and the people rejoice.

The long awaited drops descend down

As Kokopelli lifts up his voice.

Songs of blessing to the Sky Brother

And the Stars for their glorious grant.

This flute still sings when the rains are called

Kokopelli’s song the people chant.
