Hah! Son of a sheep thief am I? Since I don't know my natural father, I cannot even refute that. I shall probably forget it though, seeing as my memory is so appalling.

I refer, of course, to your sainted mother, who was often seen handing out suspect joints at the Fool and Bladder of a Friday night.

As for the Ceremony of Replenishment, as we call it down the local Morris, it is quite true that the crops fail if we omit that particular act on New Year's E'en to the tune of "Come lads, duty calls", but it's not spoken of in polite society. Here, admittedly, that's no hindrance.

Oh, no. My Mother was handing out the leftovers from the week to make room in the larder for the weekend shopping haul.

As for the Ceremony of Replenishment. We all knew about it. Even the cold snow (as what we got in those days) couldn't keep that pungency down.

I've found that sometimes my psycho-motor area of the brain will take over for the psychokinesis when necessary. I'll think about the remote way over there, then get off my butt and get it. :p
