I'm afraid this guy is a kook! He said he druged her and had sex with her. Her autopsy showed no signs of drugs or alchol.

Actually, I heard the District Attorney say the same thing this morning I believe. She also said that they had a lot of work to do before a trial.

We can speculate all we want but we really won't know anything until the trial and I can't imagine that this trial will be any less public then that of O.J.

As much heat as Denver P.D. got over the original investigation, I would certainly hope that there is some pretty damn strong evidence indicating this guy is guilty since the arrest and deportation from Thailand was so very public. And if I was the D.A. trying the case, I would be as closed mouthed as possible. Getting a fair trial with an impartial jury is going to be rough. I am sure that most people in Denver have already formed a strong opinion of what happened in the Ramsey basement.

Seems there are alot more questions now that a couple of days have passed. So it will be intresting to see how this plays out. Apparently he said he drugged her..but there were no drugs found in her system. Plus he allegedly said he had picked her up at school..but she was on holiday break.

This guy's first wife was FOURTEEN when he married her. His second

wife was only 16. They had 3 sons who are now 11, 13, and 15.

The ex-wife got a lawyer, he's having her go through stuff to see if

they have family pics, etc. of that Christmas.

Suspect had exchanged letters with Richard Allen Davis and had a copy of

Polly Klaas's death certificate.

The guy's just an out and out creep.

I hope the DNA is a match and this creep is the sicko that took Jonbenet's life so this awful tragedy can be over with.

Mr. Karr is one sick puppy a very strange person indeed. He may be a kook, the DNA will answer all those question plain and simple.

All his knowldege about the case could all be a fake, then again he may know details that no one but the police and the killer would know..

The more I hear or read about this, the more I believe he is just some nut who is seeking attention and his 15 minutes of fame. On MSNBC this morning, a guy was talking about how easy it is to get info about anything, with the right search tools.

He spoke of parents of beauty pagent girls who are a bit leary of the nutbags who just seem to follow the pagents to see the girls, due to some obsession with them. Pictures of JonBenet or any of these girls are all over, and easy to get. That coupled with child porn sites featuring brutality towards the children. The guy speculated that Karr saw these sites, and then coupled that with his obsession with Jonbenet after her death..it is easy to see how he could have created some senario in his head about having done this to her.

The man did say this is all speculation, and untill police have some specific evidence that places Karr in Boulder at the time of her murder, then they do not have a case.

If the DNA is not a match..then everything is out the window, pretty much.

Colorado authorities have not commented on their decision not to pursue charges against the man named in a warrant alleging murder, kidnapping and sexual assault on a child.

But CNN's Denver affiliate, KUSA, reported that the DNA sample taken from Karr does not match DNA found on JonBenet's body. KUSA quoted two sources in a bulletin on its Web site.

KUSA reported that samples of Karr's saliva and hair were taken in Boulder after his arrival Thursday evening. Those samples were tested over the weekend by the Denver Police Department's crime lab.

Those tests ruled out Karr's DNA as the foreign DNA left on JonBenet's body when she was slain in December 1996, the station reported on its Web site.

CNN is working to independently confirm the report.

Karr still could face child pornography charges in California.

Earlier Monday, Karr's defense team requested that prosecutors hand over DNA evidence in the Ramsey case.

The 41-year-old suspect was being held in Boulder County Jail on suspicion of first-degree murder, first- and second-degree kidnapping, and sexual assault.

It was not immediately known whether he would be freed or transferred to California.

Karr was brought back last week to the United States from Bangkok, Thailand. He arrived in Colorado Thursday evening from California, where he skipped bail in 2001 after being charged in Sonoma County with five misdemeanor counts of possessing child pornography.

Prosecutors confirmed that a short time later.

The announcement came as Karr awaited what was scheduled to be his first court appearance in Colorado later in the afternoon.

Karr was returned to the US a week ago from Thailand, where he told reporters that he had been with JonBenet when she died, but that her death was an accident.

Earlier Monday, a Denver TV Station, KUSA, reported that foreign DNA recovered from girl’s body did not match samples taken from Karr.

Gary Harris, who's been the Karr family spokesman, told MSNBC he wasn’t surprised.

“I knew it wouldn't match, he said.

Harris said Karr is "obsessed" with the case, adding: "He may have some personality problems, but he's not a killer."

Karr had been in an isolation cell in the Boulder County Jail since he was transferred from California last Thursday.

But remember, he was not in custody for being a pedophile..he was in custody for the alleged assault and murder of JonBenet Ramsey. (Sorry, I come from a family with 5 lawyers in it).

The DNA did not match, so at this time they had nothing to hold him on. But, this is a smart move. Consider this....with the DNA out, if they had gone to trial with just the DNA evidence, and he was aquitted the would NOT be able to try him again if more evidence came to light. Double Jeapordy. A person cannot be tried twice for the same crime. Better to wait till when and if there is more evidence.
