And yes the common theme seems to be that it is always gonna be an itch you can't scratch even after months or even years apart...
I wonder that alot, but the ex would still be a factor... they are still very close.
No biggie, i have moved on in my life and am with someone now who although sometimes isn't the best man to have around, tries his damedest to make me happy. :-4

Familiarity can do it. It's hard to keep the spark there when you watch him floss, walk around in his boxer shorts, skip a shower or have gas!
You've really gotta try to recreate the chemistry on a regular basis. Try to look at your partner the way you *used to* look at him.
Either that or get really drunk and have sex. :p

I am sorry that was just plain funny. I shan't ex bash but I think my ex thought he was don Juan after a few beers OMG it was sad and pathetic ahahahaha
I agree you have to keep the spark and chemistry up in any good relationship between partners. There always has to be intrigue.

I wish I could do that!! I know thats one thing my relationship has never had, Yet we are both extremely happy. So maybe its not always something every relationship needs...I know Ive never done the sexy pajamas or the striptese and the two of us are happy. In 3 years I have gotten flowers once. But yet again both extremely happy and extremely in love.

John.............I loved him...he was my daughter's Godfather. He died 10 years ago. Killed by a teenage drunk driver.
We talked for years off and on about getting back together beause we never lost the love between us. He went a direction I could not follow but we stayed such close friends. He was always close to us.
Then he was dead........I sucked a lot of air over his death. He was a great loss to me.....................my best friend in the world was gone - my best friend in this world was GONE. We were friends for over 25 years. I guess I cannot tell you how much I miss him still.
So there........I still miss and love him

Ah, my lucky ones who do well in chemistry.
My little Bunsen burner still warms my heart, when I go home after school everyday, and he smiles for me. One smile, and I am happy all day long.
Chemistry is more then the adrenalin, and the flow, it is what your heart feels for the other person.

I'll tell ya something Hamster, no matter what people say is the hardest thing in life you'll ever go through, it's love. It's really humiliating to say this, but the guy I dated in highschool wore a cologne that I still have to turn to see the face of whoever is wearing b/c maybe it's him. I'll never forget him, I came to terms with the fact that my heart would never come to terms with it. I'll tell you why though, most of the time it is because the person that is not meant to be a life partner, fits our fantasies. Fantasies are by nature purely ideas and notions of the things we view as perfect. The man to be MR. RIGHT is always the IMperfect one. The IMperfect one though is the true one of a kind. There are tons of fish in the sea, it's always bright colored small ones we tend to see, but the giant trophy who blends in the darkness are the ones we take home.

I don't think the chemistry is as real as the short lived feeling of lust that most commonly presents itself. If it was chemistry, than would be only reactive in person?Or would be transcended with out person too person contact?Say on line?
Some say it's possible,I don't believe that.As always,if you Finaly get together with a person, the chemistry wears off.such that can happen on line, but tends too stay active longer.Mandy people have found bonds playing the many role playing games out there and say that they have "chemistry"with a certain person.and then it starts too get old when one partner gets alittle over bearing with e-mails and Pm's and chasing you around from thread too thread,It gets old and you try too be nice and let them down easy because you exposed the person for what they are.a lunitic,in the worst way. This could happen anywhere and one has recognize the line between chemistry and puppy lust.Cooler heads must prevail.

I think you can get really close to people on line. It's happened to me through letters, Why not e-mails and chat? Just because someone sends you e-mail, trying to be nice to you doesn't mean they are stalking you! you should just take it as flattery.

Do you mean as in soulmates of friendships and/or romance? I have experienced the "chemistry" feeling with friends (in a non-romantic sense) and also through crushes.
