I love Alliage by Estee Lauder, it was the perfume that my first serious boyfriend bought for me and I have loved and worn it ever since ( the boyfriend didn't last the distance unfortunately!!)

I'm not doing real great with posting links to other threads lately but

I'll try again, mainly 'cause herein is one of the first interactions I had

with Abbey and she was able to get her mum some Evening in Paris

"pewfume"... so it holds kind of a special place in my heart.

I used to really, really love White Shoulders... but for a reason that

I don't feel comfortable revealing... I don't wear it any more. Maybe some

day...

Style is an excellent choice DG

It has nothing to do with the fact that I work for Polo Ralph Lauren

I also love to wear my husband's Polo and Drakkar Noir. :-4

Opium is very nice but musky and heavy so just a wee dab and its enough.

OPIUM has changed over the years, hasn't it?

I thought I'd told this story here, but perhaps not....I was in an Italian airport, standing next to one of those GORGEOUS, TALL, ANGULAR, EXPRESSIVE Italian women who looks like Sophia Loren. Her fragrance was divine!

Not speaking Italian, I caught her attention, sniffed the air, smiled broadly and said "BELLA, BELLA, BELLLLLLA!"

Woman to woman...she understood me and rattled off about ten paragraphs of Italian, but the only word I understood was "Clinique."

When I got home, I went to Macy's and told them my "gorgeous Italian woman" story, describing the scent as well as I could.

They gave me "Aromatique" to try.....and that was it!

Now, I love the scent (a little goes a very long way)....it reminds me of the way Opium used to smell. And whenever I put it on, I think of that gorgeous woman in the Italian airport.

Nice memory.

Do you find that scents can jog memory in very powerful and sometimes unexpected ways? All I need is to catch a whiff of POLO and I'm transported back in time.....;)
My candle's burning at both ends, it will not last the night. But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--It gives a lovely light!--Edna St. Vincent Millay

Pure Poison. Light purple bottle. Subtle. Not as heavy as the original.

Opium.

Perceive. By Avon, for work.

Charlie. For those saucy moments.

Giorgio. For effect.

Accapella for those seductive moods.

:yh_bigsmi

I used to wear sand and sable, but alas it cant be found over here.

I used to wear Red. But I have since moved on. LOL!

Red Door is my favorite

I love Chanel #5

For those who don't like Poison, try Hynoptic Poison. It's a lot less intense. I can't stand Poison, there's a reason they named it that! :wah:

My sister loves Heaven Scent

I used to wear Love's Fresh Lemon as a teenager but haven't seen it in years.

Amirage (?) is great

I don't like to smell my own perfume. That means it's too instense, I like to just get a whiff of it now and again. And I don't like the dark perfumes. Too overbearing.
When choosing between two evils, I always like to take the one I've never tried before.
