An observation from experience of other sorts of forums where word/story games like this are popular.



This kind of game tends to result in extremely long sentences. Maybe this is because people make another 'game' out of leading the story away from where the previous poster(s) seem to be leading THEM!!



Also with word games like this it's very hard to keep up with where the story is actually going. Maybe that's the whole point of it? But with a sentence maybe stretching over two or more PAGES it can quickly get non-sensical, which may also be part of the fun, but can also frustrating.



I saw another thread on this site where a story game allows you to write as much as you want & stop where you want. These stories are more interesting for the casual observer to read because they seem to have a more clearly defined direction & the story line seems to be actually leading somewhere.



Just a personal observation, I have no wish to disrupt this game or spoil it for others. But it may be interesting to discuss the appeal of different forum word games to different people. If it is I look forward to seeing other views. If not please ignore this post!!
