As Lulu and Koan said - those who really intend to leave, just leave. They are past caring if anyone is all choked up at their loss or not, and they aren't going to be peeking in to get some kind of sad satisfaction. You'll be sorry, you'll miss me, and all that. They're just gonna go.

No! If you want to know anything, you have to threaten to leave. Then you count the number of responses to see how popular you are.

If you have lots of posts, you'll know you should rethink leaving so many friends behind - and so you'll stay.

If you only have a few posts, you'll know that people just don't know you well enough (otherwise they'd love you, right?); if they only knew you better they'd be begging you to stay - and so you'll stay.... but just until they like you better.
