I don't know about you, but I enjoy watching paint dry. I imagine that the wet paint is a big freshwater lake that is the only source of water for some tiny cities by the lake. As the lake gets drier, the population gets more desperate, and sometimes there are water riots. Once there was a big fire and everyone died.

Do you ever watch paint dry ?
I've had to explain most of the posts to MK, but fortunately, she's explaining this one to me :wah: I've actually seen her watching paint dry during her watercolour period. Tonight she has reverted to crayons. They dry faster :D

MamaKram, did Krammy cry on his first day at school?

Any embarrassing moments you could share with us?

Hammy wants to know if Krammy still has a bedtime story?

Mom

For centuries, people thought the moon was made of green cheese. Then the astronauts found that the moon is really a big hard rock. That's what happens to cheese when you leave it out.

Why cant people just wake up and smell the coffee ?

Ah, UncleK....it warms my cockles to imagine you and MAMAK enjoying mum-son moments around the blazing yule log, enjoying "wine gums" and savoring old tales.

(Speaking of blazes....what're WINE GUMS?)

I had to be dragged screaming to school at the age of 4. My Mom told me I had to go because the Prime Minister said so. I said "when I grow up I'm going to kill Harold Wilson". I spent my first 3 days at school hiding in a cupboard.

She says she won't read one she'll just make one up. She sends you lots of love. Here's the picture she has just done. Michelangelo eat your heart out

She knows the Astronauts were lying. They should have sent Michael Collins. He was the honest one:D

She's quite a celebrity at the Sheltered Accomodation where she lives. This is ever since she appeared in The Simpsons. She is indeed lovely and has been through some hard times, but since her moment in the spotlight I've detected a subtle change. What can I say?. The Ego has landed :wah:

She deserves all things good. She has given a special dispensation for Christmas Eve so that for one night only, I don't have to tuck my shirt into my underpants :D

She also deserves all things good for her compassion towards unfortunate individuals :-2

Does MamaKram have any sympathy for Betty? I've just cut my finger on a veg knife and it won't stop bleeding. Luckily I have visitors so I've delegated and am now drowning my sorrows in a bottle of wine. :(

Boops, my Mom is wondering if you have a bottle of Cider in for Christmas as she swears by its healing properties particularly for hand wounds. She says that whenever she gets a prick in her hand, she always puts it in Cider. Good Lord...did I just say that? :wah:

Merry Christmas Gups. She is very proud of me which is why she carries a poem I wrote about The Dambusters when I was 10 around in her handbag

Thanks girls. I've just taken her up to bed. She's pulled rank on me so I'm relegated to the pretentiously named "Guest Room"

Meanwhile she's gonna be sleeping star-shaped in my double bed. I did the same thing last week when my son and his girlfriend stayed. Did I ever mention that I can trace my ancestry back to the chivalrous Sir Walter Raleigh on my fake Family tree? ;)

Not quite as altruistic as it first appears......the single bed is the most comfy in the house :yh_shhhh :yh_giggle
