Sorry, I should have said welcome. Yes some people do try and turn science into a religion, also some people try and turn "Star Wars" into a religion, I perceive them both to be about the same in terms of the depth of their arguments. Science is not, and cannot be a religion, it is a highly effective means for examining the physical universe, nothing more and nothing less. Philosophy is the secular discipline that trys to give "meaning" to the universe, not science per se.
