New Street which is the main station for Birmingham - West Coast Main line etc.

eta. and apparently Moor Street as well (never used it as it's on the Chiltern line)

Oh, no, no, no...that's Columbus Crew. :wah:

Nah, but to root for a European team, I will root for Fulham because I have always been a fan of Brian McBrides.

Yeah I thought it was a bit mad that an American would be supporting Crewe Alexandria (they are not the biggest club in the world, in fact I am not sure if they are even the biggest club in Crewe, but you never know do you?:wah: ). Isn't Columbus in Ohio? So you are an Ohio boy, so are they a Football Team or Baseball? Sorry, I know, we don't have a clue here about any of it, though I do know some of the team names, like the Miami Dolphins and the erm, Buffalo somthings, and the Dallas Cowboys, and actually I don't know many off hand, but if I heard the names I would probably recall them!

My local team while I were growing up was Accrington Stanley but for some reason the only team I ever got to watch on a real field was Preston North End.

It's the Columbus Crew of the MLS...Major League Soccer...It's probably the equivalent to your guys' European American style football over there...It's our professional soccer league. It has been dieing out though, that's why you are seeing a few more Americans joining the premierships.

We do get premiership soccer games everyday 24/7 here on digital cable...

You can, can you, proper premiership and European soccer on the cable? Excellent, thats the last thing that was stopping me from going over to the states, I am all set now, I will bring my Villa scarf and baffle the natives (hold on Claret and Blue are not gang colours anywhere are they?). :wah:
