An actress I worked with pulled a total twit and ended up covering herself with gasoline on her way to work. She walked into the trailer covered in it and still freaked out. She told me how she had pulled the nozzle out without releasing the trigger and then screamed. Some nice Asian dude ran over to calm her down. We stood there for a second looking at each other then burst into hysterics. But damn she smelled good. :wah:
We laughed a lot on that show.

Speaking of cats....there's nothing more fun than a bunch of kittens or puppies....or baby ducks....or chicks.
Edited to add that I once played with a baby meerkat! THAT was a simple pleasure!

One of my favorite photos of myself was taken visiting a friend who raised Labradors. I've got seven or eight puppies alllllll over me!

I love San Diego Sunsets..:-6
the sound of surf..
rain, clouds, wind
kids laughing
sitting in the park watching people
smell of coffee, baked goods, bacon
Clean sheets, fresh towels, and a bubble bath
My sisters dog Daisy when she put her head in my lap and demands petting.
Love watching cats sleep (the have it down to total relaxation).
Stars in the Sky.
Most of all I love my Family and spending time with them :-4
I've heard of the green flash sunset thing in SD, went to a bar on the beach with some friends (I mean right on the beach, can't remember the place but it was lovely) and we waited for the green flash but it didn't happen that evening. Oh well.
++++++++++ I've seen the green flash! A telescope is an enormous help! I used to house-sit at Manhattan Beach and had to be taught to see the flash. It's real. (Oh..and a Margarita helps, too.)

Last time I took a bus in LA, I had to stand. I stood next to a man who raised his arm to grasp the overhead railing. His body odor nearly knocked me down! He began to talk to himself about some woman who was EVIL and how he wanted to KILL her.
I got off the bus.

How about that moment when your baby actually WALKS? And you realize that life will never be the same again?

I like riding ferries. Are meerkats the same as prairie dogs???

Oh thanks, Diuretic. There's an enclosure full of prairie dogs in Taronga Zoo in Sydney. It's kind of hypnotic. They are so gorgeous, and so busy, and so cheeky, you just stand there for hours, gawking.

What simple pleasure could surpass a spring day at the zoo?
