Very interesting.

I really like that last one, Koan. 'Arabesque' came to mind as a title. Heaven knows why. It's a gothic fantasy. Maybe because the planes are somehow dancing.

I'm in England. Just the mailing fee would be a killer.

They are stretched canvas so they don't roll up.

That one is called "Cathedral"

I figured it's better to be simple than try to outdo the painting with its name. :wah:

That one is 20x30 and called Regent St.

It's a really cool street in London. But the clay dude isn't really there. :D

I love this painting, it's really good. I like the simple colouring and geometry of it. Straight lines are never easy but you did it kiddo. Well done

Thanks, Uncle K. (and RG)

There is a really neat trick that I learned as a kid that helped me "map out" the last pic. If you take a photo or drawing that you want to copy and draw a grid over it then you could even number the grid pieces and cut them out then draw them in any order, but into the proper boxes and you'll get a near exact copy of the picture. I marked a grid on the photo then a matching grid on the larger canvas and transfered all the lines over.

Hope that makes sense.

Every time I do a new painting it becomes my favourite.

Sometimes when I finish a painting it feels like I haven't slept in a week. Argh!

I've got the next one picked out I'm just having trouble picking up the brush. :(

Almost done a new painting. It's been the trickiest so far. Lots of detail.

Been busy packing to move again soon too so that's why I'm not posting as much lately.

Back to our regular program soon.
