Wow, this thread really took off! I'm glad everyone is having so much fun, but has anyone opened the link (click on the first underlined sentence in my first post) to see what the story behind the thread is?

If not, you'll find it interesting.

If so, carry on!!! :wah:

I always joke that if I ever woke up to find burglars, all I'd need to do would be to throw Smelly at them!!!

Ah-Ha I see you are not aware of the existence of Ouch-ya-wee-bastard. This entity is disguised in the form of a feline. But I have reservations.

Eye color has been taken to the gene level..........much further than when I was in school. When I was in school it was the BB, Bb, bb......on a 2 by 2 grid. Anyone with BB had brown eyes, anyone with Bb had brown eyes but they might have a variation - like green, anyone with bb were blue eyed. Now it has been determined there are variations on that gene.....it still works the old way but they think the recessive bb has a lot more to do with the green or grey or very light brown variations.

I have blue eyes, and the kid's father had brown. I got the batch of colors in the kid's eyes-1 brown, 1 hazel, 1 green and 1 blue.

He had the Bb gene. Your Mom had the same or most probably the bb gene.
