Oh Bill, no one understands the devil's advocate, do they?

As for getting more posts in, beautyful, how about starting your own FG journal? I'm not sure if that's only for paying members, though. Maybe someone could answer that, since I don't have a journal on here, but I've thought of starting one. Do PM's up your posting too? I don't know that either. Ugh... I'm showing my FG age.

Here's a question for you, beautyful... what do you think is the most beautiful thing about you? Physically or mentally, whatever. And don't be shy! :p

Now what's wrong with using real words, even if they're big? It does tend to make someone sound intelligent, but I don't think intelligence automatically equals being snobby. Does anyone else agree or am I the only one who likes seeing someone with a good vocabulary?

Anyway, this type of question could merit it's own thread rather than derailing someone else's lighthearted stuff, don't you think? It's hardly fair on Beautyful is it?

Well said Pinky Winky. :D

It wasn't my intention to derail anything. And no, I don't think it does merit it's own thread since it was only one question to one person. Threads go off in different directions all the time, although it's not my intention to do so with this one. I just thought Bill had a legitimate question, even though it was a bit crass in his way of going about it, and people sort of ganged up on him for it because it wasn't "lighthearted." Anyway, whatever... my bad. Let's get back to the thread.

I think my mind is the most beautiful thing about me, i am the sort of self-deprecating person who would say that there is nothing physically beautiful about me :o

As my fiance says, it's the mind that makes the body beautiful. You can get a gorgeous girl, but if she's got an ugly mind, there's nothing attractive about her. He's a sweetheart.

And I'm sure there are all kinds of physically beautiful things about you. Like you said earlier, everyone is beautiful in their own way!

awww your fiance speaks words of wisdom:) As for the physically beautiful bit, as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and what is beautiful to one person may not be beautiful to another and i am very happy with a man who thinks I am beautiful and tells me so every day, i am truly blessed :-4

Do you think that an online forum, especially one with a general chit chat section; is a place to post random threads?

I do, I mean hell, it ain't like we are conducting cancer research here or anything.

Do you think some people will nevr be happy and try to spread that feeling around where ever they can?

I think the world needs another Paris Hilton post, what about you?

Do you think AlmostMental (haha Jimbo) will think I was refering to her when I said another "Paris Hilton" post when I was actually using it as a generic term to define anything?

yeah why not?! life is too serious, we need some frivilous randomness somewhere!!

Do you think some people will nevr be happy and try to spread that feeling around where ever they can?

yeah i think there are some miserable people out there who just want everyone else to feel as bad as they do

I think the world needs another Paris Hilton post, what about you?

personally i think there are enough paris hilton posts, lets not make her more important than she is but after reading your last question i have confused myself :-3 :wah:
