I do admire Crazygal, as I have met her and I have seen what she goes through with her boy, yet she carries on as she loves him to bits. :-4

I know but Jimbo baiting is one of my few pleasures in life - you wouldn't deny me that now would you?

Live and let live, there was a cry for help and we tried to answer it.

When you truly hit rock bottom you come back bigger and stronger, and able to reach out and help others on the way.

Sitting in judgement on people does no good at all and remember everytime someone irritates you, you are being shown a piece of yourself that you dislike!

I hope Crazygal can stop the fostering going ahead, but if she can't then it is 'fostering' after all and not adoption!!

I just wanted to check that your reference to beak was not pointed at me. Only, I joke about being a bird and having a beak. I just needed to check this Jimbo, as CG has never 'put my break out of joint'.

I have very strong/confused/emotional feelings right now about CG's thread, as I am sure everyone else here has too. After all, we care alot about each other and their children.

I realise its probably just the term you used - but needed to check?

I understand where CG is, I got to the point where I figured I was a bad Mum because I couldn't help my baby - anyone who has been there will know what I'm talking about. But I don't understand getting to the point where you would give up on your own child and I hope I never do. Maybe CG is at a stage that I was lucky enough never to have reached.

There are so many mixed feelings here and emotions are running high on this one.

Pheasy, Jim is out with his son, but I know for a fact that he used 'beak out of joint' as an expression, not a direct hit to you. :)

I suspect none of us know the entirety of what is going on here, we all have our opinions and ideas and make our calls from there. It's called diversity... we all come from somewhere unique yet similar and maybe none of us will fathom completely what CG is going through.

She has come to FG for support and all we can do is offer it up as best as each of us see's fit. We may not all agree with her choices but she may not agree with our voices.

We all got our opinions.

That's almost a certanty, but one thing I convinced of, she's not doing it because she wants to, it's a last resort because the alternatives are worse.

I hope that she gets the support that she needs, both from here and from the Services, to resolve her problems and to get back together as a functioning family unit.

Sometimes being honest can be the wakeup call that a person needs before they completely F up their life and that of another. I couldn't respond to the thread because I knew better. I'm glad you did.

Oh no you are quite right there Pinks. And I am certain there are a million unasked questions out there. Nothing wrong with honesty just have to accept the fact it may not be appreciated by everybody eh. I suppose it's part of trying to understand the situation better. Same goes for Glitter as well I think we are all trying to understand this entire situation better.

I want to say something to Koan here.

In the beginning you weren't too sure of me, nor I you. I'm glad that's over.

One thing I really like about you is that you speak your piece and stand your ground for it even if it's unpopular. I know what that's about firsthand and I can appreciate it in you. It's cool knowing you.
