LOL, and so we go round again on this topic. Check out the OHP (Oregon Health Plan). Read very carefully about why it went under. It will support your statement about gov't to some degree...at least the Oregon state gov't.
Most information about OHP also incudes the tough questions we don't like to ask - like how much technology/effort/money should we offer to a 90-year-old person? At what point is mdeical technology extending life that perhaps shouldn't be extended?
