You were repeatedly slapping a lady of unexceptionable virtue at the time, if I remember. What we need to bear in mind is that a sense of humour is hard to convey without a lot of practice. Taking everything at its best possible value is laudable.

You personally wernt actually called a male prostitute and neither did the poster say they were referring to yourself, they merely made an observation that male prostitution has its benefits. Same as maybe you didnt call us sad and pathetic individuals etc...

I can't help but call troll. I've been reading the smarta.ssed remarks all day and I for one don't appreciate a newbie barging in here and smearing one of my friends. Speaking of offending Jebus, Jebus has done a pretty good job of it himself. Why don't we try starting over and see where it takes us?

Think its best all round that this conversation is over, not getting anywhere and not worth getting in a pickle about.

Why not start up another thread and see if bridges can be built.

Good Night:-6

This thread is hilarious :wah::wah:

You insulted me (and my friends), and I came back with a little playful banter rather than join in with your nasty, narrow minded, pointless comments. Well Jesub, I have enough friends here who know me, and know that I will not go around offending people. So I can only assume you are here to pick a fight - sadly I'm not playing - post to someone who gives a damn! Get a life :D:D

Bad idea.....when my son was 4 his uncle bought him a puppy and guess who ended up looking after it.....meeeeeeeeeeeeee......then a year later he developed a brain tumor, cost us thousands of dollars to have him treated he ended up dying and we had one distraught son. There are lots of great toys out there for a 3 year old, or get one of those robot dogs that follow your round etc :)

Blimey! But yes, can I come and watch?!! PLEASE.

Ah the mountain sheep are sweeter

But the valley sheep are fatter

We therefore thought it neater

To disgard this little matter

And head off to the hills

With Spot and Pheasy and the patter

Of little doggie feet and the sound of Christmas chatter

I would definetly think about this one.....make sure his parents are the ones who really want the dog since they will be taking care of it...and they must WANT it or else the poor thing will end up in an animal shelter like so many others.:-1

If that is decided then you have figure out what size dog can they handle? small, medium, or large? I have a boxer and a german shepard and both have been the best family dogs...but really research this first.

It's all over DrumBunny. It wasn't a real question.

I get very cross when I go past the local pet shop. Lots of totally cute little doggies and kitties in the window, for the kids to pester their parents for. And they're on sale before Christmas. Animals aren't toys !!!!!!!!!!! I guess the pet shop owners make their living this way, but personally I'd like to see the demise of such pet shops - at least when it comes to selling dogs and cats. Better to have a would be pet owner go through an application process so they have to think about what they are taking on, and not just be swayed by sentimentality or whim.

Oh yeah! I'm always looking at puppies and thinking...just one more! They're SO DAMN CUTE!!! Then I remember all the times I was up at 3 in the morning scrubbing the crap outta the carpet...cursing the damn animal and myself for ever bringing it home!!! What the hell was I thinking? You poop like 7 times a day!!!:D Plus my Boxer is 11 years old and I'm dealing with her and the various problems that come when a dog gets old...so that is also something a person should think about. That puppies turn into "dogs" and they live for 10-15 years and its a LONG commitment!!!

I agree with you Pam and Red. We have had five dogs during our married life and all but the first have been 'rescue' dogs and all have been gorgeous. The first, a mongrel was very like a honey coloured bearded collie - adorable - lived to 16 yrs. The one we had before our latest, was a first cross honey-coloured German Shepherd/Lassie type collie, she was gorgeous and lived into her 16th year! Our latest dog Rex, a German Shepherd is also such a character, we 'rescued' him three years ago when he was 8 yrears old (we thought he would never be adopted at that age - being also a German Shepherd), and he is a wonderful animal and we adore him. I would never 'buy' a dog, because there are so many that need adopting, that have been abandoned for one reason or another.

Gill, my hat's off to you for adopting Rex as an older dog. In rescue it would break my heart to see people turn down our adult dogs for the cute puppies time and time again. It always, always makes me happy when I hear of a senior dog getting a home!! :-6 You must be doing something right to have your fur guys live to such a nice age! Although, when you love a pet, I know it's never long enough. Thanks for cheering up my morning Gill! :)
