I wish I was banned. It would almost be an honour.

Truth be told there was a comment by Jay that I wanted to respond to but everytime I went to write it it just seemed like a waste of time. So I decided that the whole forum was a waste of time because the only thing of interest on the whole site was the thread I couldn't bother to respond to.

And I would rather be here. :-6

Thats kinda like what happened with me. I just couldnt be bothered anymore. And Minks kept telling me about this place, so we decided to check it out. Glad we did. Even though we've shamelessly neglected our own forum! :yh_laugh

My last ban was undone but I doubt I'll go back much to that forum as they had a hissy that I put http://www.youcallthat-art.com and http://wwwbenparkdrive.com in a post. I even had permission from the board owner to give these bands plugs!!!

My fastest ban was getting banned on my first post. I found a lotto thread in a search engine as one person two threads back mentioned. Some forums show up in the searches. So I replied and instant ban.

I've been banned for plugging YCTA?, Lottomagic, UFO and a thread What if Jesus Ran Against Bush which was both funny and sad.

Interesting, thread started in February and is almost totally dedicated to what you all think of Wickedmoon. And what do you know, you have all been going over there and posting and trying to get banned.

You don't know me, fine, but it strikes me that whether anyone likes to admit it or not, wickedmoon and forumgarden are mirror images of each other. You can't see anything to attract you in WM and we can't see anything here. Thats the joy of the human race we are all different, we share different views and different ideas.

Wickedmoon is where I go to be with some of the most supportive and caring group of people I know. And if to an 'outsider' the threads seem strange, boring and not worth reading its cos they don't share the same humour, or personality, which is fine, its the spice of life.

We don't have public forums for our problems and for things that get us down, we PM each other, on the boards we laugh and have fun. Its a very tight and strong community and we look out for our own.

That said we welcome real newbies into the community.

The incidents that minks refers to are out of context, a newbie signed up who wasn't all they appeared to be, admin and mods (who can see IP numbers) were aware of this, this person came deliberatly to the boards to start trouble and they did, because they started the roller coaster that caused the paranoia that in all honestly did turn real newbies away. Newbies come and newbies go, we all know that, how many one post newbies do you get?, not including moonies of course.

Minks cannot deny that when she had her own online problem, the mods and admin at wickedmoon banned a new member on her word, and her word alone, to ensure that she could continue to post in a safe enviroment. I think I still have the very long PM she sent me at the time explaining it all. They did this to ensure her safety online so she could continue to post, in other words they were looking after their own.

Moderators and admin are there to protect the users, so even though to someone looking in all seems to be unwelcoming and unfriendly its usually cos there is a reason behind the scenes and as mods and admin have information that is sometimes confidential, they can't always explain their actions to the other users. This applies to any board.

In the weeks after Minks, Raven and Trilby left wickedmoon, and a load of forums popped up on the internet based purely on pointing and laughing at wickedmoon and its users, I am under the impression that all have tried to come back with other users names pretending to be newbies, which has only lead to the continued paranoia. Occasionally a newbie gets through the net though, and usually within weeks is posting away with the rest of us having as much fun.

You don't have to like WM, or understand it, but it is to us what the Garden is to you.

I signed up here cos its always troubled me that folk I PMd with at length who I thought were 'friends' went off to other forums and laughed at my problems when they thought I couldn't see. And contrary to what they beleive this is the first time I have posted on a forum with those people since they left WM.

I wondered it they would PM me, but they didn't......and I just don't feel like PMing them.



You don't need to ban me, I have no reason to stay. If you have an ounce of intelligence you will know that there is at least a hint of truth in what I am saying, maybe even a bit more than a hint. If you can't see that, then you don't have the intelligence that I am giving you credit with.

Why thank you Ghost once again to post past issues to the general public. And the newbie you mentioned was a person who MSN has on record as a known stalker. I merely told admin at WM about him and the threat he posed to me. Stalkers are not tolerated by anyone.

By the way Ghost, look at your timeline, and take a walk through past forums and see how long it has been since I cared about WM. And maybe you wanna consider some of my "issues" at the time a year ago that I battled. You wanna throw dirt up in FG go ahead, it is a pity you think that is how you will make friends.

You know again check out the time, check out the frequencey and importance of this thread (past) and you will see you were looked in upon, spoke about and dropped as you were just that unimportant to FG.

If you want to make it a big issue go ahead, but realistically, you were not important enough to people here to persue a thread for very long. Currently you are making a mountain out of a molehill. If you are looking to bait members here, or pit one against the other, I think you are failing. What you seem to have accomplished is a clear "you against them" attitude here, and so far I see WM members with their opinions and ideas, adn FG with their opinions and ideas. I don't think you get it, this place isn't your style.

i should note however, that 'it's peaceful here' is a relative thing. we've been known to have some extremely contentious debates here, with spittle flying and personal attacks. in the heat of the moment, when people feel passionately about what's being discussed, it happens. the difference in these threads is that the activity was started purely with malice in mind, to try to stir the pot. thank you, but if we want the pot stirred, we'll bloody well stir it OURSELVES. thinly veiled agendas, brought in from elsewhere in a clearly organized attempt to 'get back' at people, or intimidate, harrass, or otherwise bother people who have established a presence here - with dignity - over time, is what i would consider 'disturbing the peace'. having a virtual drunken row among friends here is entirely different from a stranger knocking on your door and calling you a jackass for having pink flamingos on your lawn.
