Too often, even now,the prosecution draws a conclusion, and then dedicate themselves to trying to prove the case for that conclusion, rather than finding the evidence and letting the evidence carry them to the conclusion.

When Casey Anthony appeared before Orange Circuit Judge Stan Strickland last year
facing the check-fraud charges, she plead guilty. She actually admitted to stealing a checkbook from Amy Huizenga, who was supposedly her friend, and writing four checks in the amount of almost $650.
Her words were, “I just wanted to let everyone know that I’m sorry for what I did, “I take complete and full responsibility for my actions and I’d like to apologize to Amy. I wish I’d been a better friend.”
Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez asked that the court give his client credit for time served and to place her on probation. Judge Strickland agreed since she had already spent more time in jail than a sentence would have called for.
The problem here is that apparently the Department of Corrections officials mistakenly interpreted the courts order for Anthony’s probation to mean that she would be serving her probation while still in jail waiting on her murder trial.
Judge Strickland didn’t say that though. He intended for her to serve her probation once she was released from jail in the event that she was. This morning Judge Strickland signed amended court documents that will require Casey Anthony to serve one year of supervised probation as he originally intended when he sentenced her in the check fraud case.
Strickland said, “From my reading of this, she should be reporting in Orlando probably within 72 hours. I suspect she’s going to be required to report to probation”
Department of Corrections spokeswoman Gretl Plessinger said, “We’re in contact with Casey Anthony’s attorney to set up her first report visit.” With the amended order now signed, Plessinger said that the Department will apply supervised probation now.
Of course it is expected for the defense team to argue about this, saying she shouldn’t have to serve probation because she already served it while in jail and they will probably argue “double jeopardy”. They would have to appear before Judge Belvin Perry in an emergency hearing.
What really bothers me here is why do they think this woman should be exempt from the law? She was not a victim here. She was the one causing all the problems with her lies. Baez denies that she was guilty of killing her daughter but with the exception of a few people that think she is innocent as well, almost everyone thinks she is guilty of murdering her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony.
Let’s face it, they beat the system. There is nothing we can do to change that, but I say make her serve the year’s probation. Make her stay in Orlando during that year. Make her face a city that hates her. Torture her in a way that will make her scared to go out in the public. Make her pay for what she has done. Even if she didn’t kill Caylee, this probation isn’t even for that. She stood in court and admitted she stole those checks. Why shouldn’t she pay for that crime? She wasn’t in jail for that all this time. It certainly didn’t get any justice for Amy having her there all that time either. Making her serve the probation, will at least in a small way for the public to see her pay for the crimes that she has gotten away with.
Of course this is all my opinion, which I am entitled to, but I’d be willing to bet I am not the only one that feels this way. I pray that she is made to serve this probation and is forced to stay in Orlando during that time. It would serve her right.

This is the same Stan Strickland who screwed the case up last April, who had to step away from the trial and hand it over to a fresh judge? He's missing the limelight?
The reason I suggested she emigrate was so she could get away from thrill-suckers like this one. There'll be plenty more.

he's missing something.
I do understand why you think its safer for her if she immigrated, but its doubtful she wants to.
But from I have read, not above and heard on the news, its very likely she will now serve out her probation.
