I thought that said I have a ten week old for the first two times through, it took ages to click that I'd got it wrong.
I'm sure this time next year your tadpole will have it firmly in his past and be getting on properly again, I hope it's sooner than later.

Looking forward to getting it!
The younger boys got their Kayaks today !!! and new bikes of course . so they are set for another year. this is the time of year that they get all their pressie needs met. (cause we dont' do Christmas)
Okay I'll stop stalling .........I have a ten year old that is not used to me being away and was in tears tonight because i have to go back to Melbourne tomoz.
He says he hasn't seen me in a week and he's sad about that. (Actually it was only four days but its a whole week to him ) so we had a good talk about it tonight and he understands that I have to be with Joel but he's still sad I have to leave. Poor little fella. Oh well he has to buck up a little bit . It amazes me you know ....this kid can stand up before an audience of people no dramas and speak and act and all of that (which I could never do cause I get stagefright ...kinda) . yet take his mum away for one minute and he's a mess.
Nothing is ever easy is it? You look after one child and another suffers. Oh god don't ya just love parenting?
Parenting is the toughest job in the world, you always feel that whatever you do you're getting something wrong.
Littlest chap will understand that his brother needs his mum too, as he gets older he'll remember this time and he'll know that mum always puts her children first.
(My daughter is 13, tells me that it's fine for me to go off and do whatever without her, she'll be ok - then she's on the phone asking how long I'll be! They just like to know where you are.)
If nothing else your youngest will appreciate you more when you get home:-4

WOW!!! there is no difference. No scar no swelling no bandage . he has a metal plate in his cheek but you wouldn't know anything had been done:-2 They made the incision via the inside of his mouth.:-3 He can feel two stitches with his tongue.
boy does that boy get narky when he is in pain though. He's not a happy little camper i can tell you that much.!!!! I warned him before I left him that he better be nice to the nurses. It may be the reaction to the anescetic but Phew!!!! something about becoming a serial killer if he didn't get a smoke soon was muttered. I hope he sleeps okay overnight. He has some nice people in the ward with him I hope he doesn't **** them off . hmmm It may well be the drugs or maybe he's just that way ....My mum said it was common after surgery . ?????? gups would you know?
So anyway I'll be taking him back home with my in a couple of days .............thank you all very very much for the well wishes . He'll be fine.
Mags, that operation is like a miracle....wow, they went through the mouth...amazing. I'm happy your boy is a little better:-4

ahhhh, I'm so glad he's going to be fine....I'm sure this will be a fun 2 weeks for you, but at least you know he's safe and going to be okay. I sympathize with the smoking for him, but it is only for his well being, and we are all concerned about that for sure!
Please give him a gentle hug for me! and you get a big fat hug for being such a caring and loving mum! :-4:-4:-4
