The entire exercise, it seems to me, is to talk the paying public into using their credit cards again instead of hoarding their wealth for a rainy day. If the consumers don't consume adequately the country falls into ruin. Capitalism depends entirely on the masses spending today what they hope to earn next year and these last few months they seem to have unwisely chosen not to. Buy more trinkets quickly or Western freedoms will collapse, that's the message.

I pulled the names of the congressmen that changed from nay to yea. One name, Congressman Jim McDermott of Washington (D), was new on the Nays list, being the only one to change his vote from yes to no. He deserves special kudos! :yh_clap

Here are the idiots that changed their votes to yes. If you find your guy on the list, I hope you vote him out of office.

If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's re all y do it...instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( "vote buy" ) economic incentive that is being proposed by one of our candidates for President.

Does your dad know you are a closet socialist?:sneaky:

If you re-distribute wealth from the rich for the benefit of ordinary people that's socialism. If you re-distribute from the ordinary people to the rich that's right wing fascism/corporatism.

I hope at the next election the american voters reach up and grab their leaders by the balls-just to remind them who they are supposed to work for.
