I know all about the "Footy" players I'm a bit of a fan who just happens to live in San Diego California. My Niece who was on the US women's Football team who took home gold in the 2008 Olympics is a fan as well, espically ROLANDO we love him. ;)

If were lucky she will be in the 2012 Olympics and I will be coming to your country in 2012. :-6
Big strapping men like Ronaldo play footie, nothing Mambie pambie about him!

Is there?

And what about Duncan Ferguson, he delt with a burglar, no problem, he sorted them out good and proper!

And if you don't know he played for Everton. Big Dunc, as he was known
That is really something to look forward to.

Some people seem to think that the U.K. will not put not such a good display as China but we have a lot going for us. So much history and we are good at ceremony.

My name is Cazza and I am a scouser and live on Merseyside.

I work as a school secretary and like going to a nice country pub for a meal and watching footie.

I support Everton although my husband and three children are Liverpool supporters!

This seems an interesting and friendly site and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Not true!

Not everyone speaks broad, nasal scouse.

I certainly don't. My daughter says I sound quite posh on the phone.

But of course I have not lived in Liverpool since the age of four.

No, there are varying scouse accents.

Do you like a Brum accent which I think is the worst of the lot.

By the way, what time is it where you are? It is 10.25pm here.

Why not so great at the moment, if you don't mind me asking. Is it because of the weather.

It is very cold here and a bit foggy.

Brigstowe is what was here a thousand years ago, the town's evolved since. I expect people from five hundred years ago would easily recognise what's here now.

I didn't know that Spot.

We have stayed in Cheltenham a few times. Not that far from you really.

My son-in-law comes from Somerset and his father works in Bristol on a building project.
