I am very glad that he didnt keep his arrogant, masoginist, head down.

Im glad that the football throwing psychopath will be behind bars for a very long time.

wonder if it was an all black jury then?;)

Then there is a huge difference between America and Britain. We also have our share of celebrity criminals and thanks to our justice system, they are treated no different from any-one else. We have even had politicians go to prison. All Tory i must add and nothing to do with our great Leader Gordon Brown).

If OJ were tried in Britain, i am in no doubt he would have been charged with 'false imprisonment' and not kidnap. We don't trump charges up just because a guy MAY have killed his wife before. That's what forensics and a criminal court are there to prove or dis-prove.

As I stated in the beginning of my replys, the Simpso trial made a mockery of our court and justice system. The police department in California was made to look like a bunch of bafoons were running it. I am certain that in the case of OJ 13 years ago, there were pay offs involved ( a common circumstance ) We place ( not all of us) celebrities, particularly sports figures on pedestials, and many people support them blindly. I think its a pathetic state of mind. I do not make allowances for anyone of low moral fiber, and am not impressed by high earnings accumulated by evil entities.

The idea of corruption during OJ's trial of his wife's murder was always suspicious when the civil court case brought by her family did find him guilty.

We have just had a very high profile case of a complete police **** up as well so your not alone with buffoon police departments.

It is quite amazing how America does tend to put these celebritys on that great high pedestal. I think we are far more down to earth here.

Allegedly, Victoria Beckham when speaking of why she wanted to move from Britain to L.A. told a reporter that America treats their celebritys like gods and we didn't here. A lot of British celebs end up in America for the same reason I'm sure.

They shouldn't be treated differently one way or the other just because they are famous.
