Very rare but probable. We all breath in all sorts of pollen and minute seeds every day but they need light to germinate and grow. The lung is a very moist part which it could have germinated in but astonishing that it grew without light. I tend to think that if they had not of operated, the tree would have died eventually due to lack of light but the moist conditions in a lung could have germinated it.......... i think
