When I try to use the above video icon to insert a video, it won't happen either. This has been going on for two weeks. What's going on FG?

I honestly do not think that this is a problem within FG.

I've been trying to recreate your symptoms and I cannot - it works perfectly from this end.

That it should upload a screen dump of your current screen is confusing - the code it has inserted is totally wrong, using the IFRAME tag instead of the VIDEO tag as in :-

As I asked in my previous e-mail :-

Whilst the circle goes on, what site address is it showing in the bottom left hand corner of the browser?

Are you saying that, even though the browser is still waiting, the video post has completed successfully?

Could you describe in detail the steps you are taking and what responses you are seeing as a result?

I go to youtube.

Copy the url to the video.

Come here to reply to thread.

Click on the video icon above to insert the video by pasting it.

The little black appears with the white circle revolving inside. (See Below)

That's as far as I can get.

I've only had this problem for the last two weeks.

I was just now able to post a video on FaceBook. No problem there.

I was just now able to post a video on FaceBook. No problem there.

Whilst it is in that state is there a web address showing in the status line on the bottom left of your browser screen?

The insert has picked up the wrong tags (IMG rather than VIDEO). Can you try the following :-

Go to YouTube

Copy the URL to the video

Come here to reply to thread

Type square open bracket VIDEO square close bracket

Paste the URL

Type square open bracket VIDEO square close bracket

Post reply

If that works we just have to work out why clicking on the insert video icon is picking up the wrong tags.

Sorry, reverse the two tags - the [V at the start and the [/V at the end

We're trying to prove that your browser will load the video if it uses the correct tags - once we've done that we can try to find out why it is picking up the wrong ones.
