Ah well - let me pour you a glass of cold water. Still sweltering here, and I need to counteract the champers.. grin. The moon is full too, and I just evicted a large huntsman spider who'd worked very hard to get up to my third floor balcony. At least I think he was a huntsman.

OMG PAM:wah:

That's one big spider:D I'd be scared to death if I saw him in my home:o

Really - I am not now, nor ever have been a member of any insider trading organisation. Nor are the jockeys that allegedly are seen lurking in my garden whispering anything other than sweet nothings in my blushing ears....

The fact I won my own sweep is purely and completely coincidental :sneaky:

No idea what NUO means, Oscar. But you had Ista Kareem - a Turkish hossie???

NUO - No Ulterior Opening?

Kathy - glad you enjoyed the race. Reckon I outran Shocking when I saw Mr Spider looking at me... grin.. Then I swiped him very gently and he sailed, intact, down into the shrubbery below where I am happy for him to continue living his arachnoid life.

Rapunzel - an FG Quidditch match????? I mean after all, some of us are quite skilled on broomsticks....

As fer race fixing... Moi????????? NEVER !!!!

:sneaky:

Pam pours another glass of champers and raises her class to the FG Ladies

I'm working on it Kaylene.

I mentally interviewed

Nomad - but am afraid of lutefisk or worse

Clodders - I nearly chose and then saw what was in his fridge on another thread and wish to live

Hoppy - chucked a hunk of dead cow on his plate - which lacks a certain something of elegance and romance.

It's a tough one!!!

Any suggestions?

What?!? The race is over? And I dug my Kentucky Derby hat out for nothing? Ah, well, is there any champers left?

Well that's really good to know Pammie sweetie. :)

And, of course, I believe every word you say. :D:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

A Quidditch match would be fun. It's actually becoming an incredibly popular sport, oddly enough. :):wah:

Someone had a siggy about witches getting a better grip without panties, which I think is extremely good advice and would surely be properly appreciated by the onlookers if it were to be a very windy day. :sneaky::wah::wah::wah:

Had I won (:sneaky: ) (;):wah: ) I would have chosen Mikeinie as he seems like a very civilised chap, he's very well travelled and he takes fabulous photos, both of which which would make wonderful topics for dinner conversation.

You may borrow him if you wish. :sneaky:

Mikeine's an Irishman isn't he???? My mother warned me that they're a dangerous lot. Silver tongued, luring poor innocent girls with their foin words and shamrock smoils. I wonder if he can fix salmon, then beef and guinness pie, colcannon... whiskey pudding... Nar but I'd hafta drink tea, wouldn't I - and that's an abomination!!!!

But thankyou Rapunzel for your very kind offer.

Witches on broomsticks don't wear undies??? Really... I didn't know that!! You really do live and learn.

Zapata - the actual race lasted about 3 minutes. Lots of fuss. You get all worked up, all dressed and then it's over... :sneaky: Um... (or undressed) :lips:

But there's a few bottles of Bolly left.. Let me fill your glass.

Clodders - You're very persuasive... I think Kathy suggested the Restaurant at the End of the Universe.. I believe they do fantastic spaced out lobster. They probably deliver...

Oooo I just saw this. I like Mezcal shooters the best. Mezcal has a better flavor than regular tequila. But after a few, ya can't tell the difference.

And Pam, my Tequila Dancing Worms Hat is spectacular if I do say so, myself. I had a photo someplace but who knows where that might be?

I don't think so. It doesn't ring a bell but it's possible. It's possible. What is it? Is it like White Lightnin'?

Thanks for posting that. Sounds good. That site tells how to do shooters too, although when I was in Oaxaca, they taught me to moisten the part of your hand between the thumb & index finger,(is that the "Mound of Venus"? salt it and squeeze the lime juice into your mouth & then the Mezcal & then the salt & then the lime juice . . .and I forgot the tequila. Let's . . .hic . . . start over. :D
