Damn - I've just read the post properly and it's Zennor. I'd read it as Zennon - ignore me, muddled as usual :-(

Hmmm and what did they do on the coach ride... ahhh the song 'Away down to Lamorna' ;)

Lovely cove is Lamorna, quite breathtaking, especially the high quay with a sheer drop. Even the approach down the hill is enough to make people tremble :yh_rotfl

and keep in mind funky spellings of names as NOBODY gets them right.

ie

ERYNNE yep my daughter is Erin, and I nearly choked when I saw a cashier with that crazy spelling of her name on her tag :-5

Hello Mel:-6

The origin of "Erynne" is Irish/Gaelic. The name means peaceful, poetic, beautiful, quiet and hope.

My family live in Donegal, in the heart of the Irish speaking people ,called the Gaeltacht......Dunlewy and Dungloe area......

My cousin Ann hosts the young Irish children who wish to learn the Irish. She has a daughter named Erin or as I found out it's spelled the Irish way Erynne which is pronounced as A'run. It took me awhile to figure that out:wah:

My name in Irish is Caitriona Nic Phaidin which means Katherine, daughter of Patrick....:wah: which I am.

Or Reuben.

And, thinking about it, it's a long time since I met a Jarvis, that's due for a comeback too. Good name, Jarvis.

I will do polls to narrow down the choices.

Don't count on Shimei being on the list :p

Of course it's not binding, the baby will ultimately decide the name. Psychically but, ...nevertheless.

Will this baby be more likely to have dark hair and dark skin or light hair and light skin, redhead ect?

All these factors come into play when choosing a name, example - a dark haired girl would suit the name Raven far better than a blonde or redhead girl.

Also what is the surname, is it very short or long. If its long you may want to choose a short name like - Ava, giving space on forms later in life. Do you like or dislike abrieviated/ nick names? Just some things that crossed my mind.

Perhaps you could tell us what you're preference is for beginning letters? I know my father and mother both had first names starting with "K" so they decided to name all of their children with names that start with the letter "K".

most likely will be blond, blue eyed

I tend to like shorter names as they don't get shortened as often. Also wary of names like Daniel, which I like, but it becomes Dan, which I don't like.

I'll put together a list of which names I like from the suggestions soon. I'm sure at least one of yours will be on there.

Have to consider what the name would be shortened to, what the history of the name is and what it means.

maybe Naomi or Olivia for a girl...

argh. an O name would make OD the initials. Not a good thing.

Olly Dolly - but really, there is no name, no set of initials etc etc that can't be turned into something to tease and taunt. Kids are kids.

Still, maybe parents shouldn't hand it to those other kids on a platter. I was always sorry for a classmate called Teresa Green, kid you not. But it didn't seem to bother her.

So awesome to hear the heart beat !!!!!
