The popularity of circumcision in America stems from Dr Kellogg (of cornflakes fame) who performed the operation on the patients on his asylum in order to stop their masturbating, as he promoted the belief that masturbation was the primary cause of madness. For that matter, that was the same reason he came up with the idea of feeding them cornflakes. Basically, he was a few cents short of a dollar himself.

Wow, thats sad. I never ever worried about my boys masterbating because its the best way of stretching the skin around the head of the penis.

I was lectured by my family doctor at the time about the cleanliness of the area. Basically as much cleanliness as females have to keep, which most know is extremely important.

Ive said it on this forum years ago and ill say it again. . I tild my boys. "Its YOUR penis and you can wash it as much as you want to".

They are all well adjusted human beings and have normal sexual relationships. Although there was one who had a little trouble on his first sexual encounter, but that was fixed after he began. 'Washing' his penis properly again. And who knew? Apparently penises are larger during sexual contact than in masterbation? So theres a lesson for us all......... dont measure your penis during masturbation.
