Prince Andrew has been stripped of his "prince" title and will leave his Windsor mansion, Royal Lodge, Buckingham Palace has announced.

He can only take the throne with the consent of the Prime Minister of the day in the unthinkable circumstance of his reaching first place, and it is the work of a moment to disbar him then. It is in all practical terms irrelevant since the occasion will never eventuate. Interfering with the succession would, at this stage, be an astonishingly complex and pointless precedent-setting legal adjustment and would need to be agreed with all the Commonwealth realms, including Australia and Canada.

And I'm wondering how many time the name of President Trump would come up if these politicians got access to him. It seems a somewhat opportunistic appeal with extremely long odds of success. They could at least sweeten the deal by offering to release Maxwell to him in exchange.

Well, at this point, what have they to offer him that might encourage cooperation. Or, with what might he be threatened that might also encourage said cooperation. I am sure that the Devine Mr. T could come up with something to encourage a loss of memory.

I'm not sure that anyone really thought this through, at all.
