I still have my buckskin jacket with the fringe in the back of my closet, take it out maybe once a year to wear to school, (I will not put on my Twiggy dress that hangs there too, though I can wear it) and wear my hair down because it still reaches past my waist like in the 60s, and hear my students cry out, "Hippie!"

Then I talk to them about:

Gas for under 25 cents a gallon

Measles and mump epidemics

The cheap price of food

Man going to the moon

Pogo sticks, and hula hoops

Hopscotch and four-square

Kickball

Life before color TV's.....................who remembers what they first watched in color?

Here's the story of a lovely lady,

Who was bringing up three very lovely girls.

All of them had hair of gold, like their mother,

The youngest one in curls.

Here's the story, of a man named Brady,

Who was busy with three boys of his own.

They were four men, living all together,

Yet they were all alone.

Till the one day when the lady met this fellow,

And they knew that it was much more than a hunch.

That this group would somehow form a family.

That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch.

The Brady Bunch, The Brady Bunch.

That's the way we became the Brady Bunch.
