I see you like Chocolate.....

See if you like this too... i wrote it for a laugh this year and it ended up being published....

Chocolate

I love the time of Easter

When my children get a chocolate treat

For when they've gone to bed at night

Into the kitchen I do creep

I thought I would just have a nibble

So small that they wouldn’t know

But the chocolate tasted so good

That I had to have a little more

At first I broke off a corner

Then turned it so they couldn’t see

But then I turned it round again

Well the box was shouting at me!!

I thought the kids, they wouldn't mind

After all I am their mum

I looked down at the empty box

Oh lord what have I done

So now I have a big problem

I need help for goodness sake

For I need to buy more chocolate

Before tomorrow my children awake

Have we got the Brussel Sprout and Bean Sprout issue sorted then ??? i was so busy sorting out the Bourbon biccies...I missed a load of posts.

Today while I was out I had the biggest sandwich I've ever had...couldn't eat it all.

it contained bread (of course), lettuce, tomato, Cheese, Cucumber, sliced apple and some kind of pickle....actually enjoyed the mug of coffee {with cream) more

Soup in a white cream base, with clams, potatoes ummm some people add ham. Tis very good. The other kind is in a tomatoe base and thinner but do not know it's technical name.
