Haha, cute.
I'm trying to understand the differences between the practices of M/C's between my country and yours, and from what I've learned so far, the differences are vast.
For example, no one would drop the name of a club unless they were a member. Being associated with an M/C here is not necessarily something you want to admit to, and using the name of a club is potentially dangerous.
Also, you don't jump patches here very often. Olin has hinted that he has belonged to several M/C's over the years, and in the US, jumping patch is considered a sign of lack of committment. So yeah, I'm curious about how different it is.

I wasn't a member, I just rode round with them sometimes back then I was a bikers tart, mates of mine were mates with them, you didn't have to join, or at least not that I'm aware of. But that was an age ago, and my mate of the time is now a landscape gardener, who knows!!

Hmm...an interesting conversation about SS and DD in your neck of the woods at this site:

Seems our M/C's ARE quite different!

Er..no.
I said that I'd belonged to one MC.
And several other non MC clubs.
None of the above presently being in existence.
The one club that I did name was the last club I was a member of, I left the club on good terms as did a good few of my friends so no big deal there.

Well the ones I knew definately had bikes, big old black noisy mean ones, not nice shiney harleys straight out the showroom with the matching leathers. Kids today hey, think they know it all.

LOL!
You know the snobbery I mentioned?
There's also an 'inverse snobbery that exists in the Uk - people who don't belong to clubs and will never fit in - so they ridicule them.
Amusing reading though, I've bookmarked it so i can have a laugh reading it tomorrow when I have more time - this poor sod has to be in work at 6.00 am.

Built by the owners - skinned knuckles and all that - that's the core of biking.

My mistake. I read:
I was with a MC club when I was in the '80's and with other clubs before & after.
the wrong way from how you intended it.

To be honest the bestest most fun bike club I was with was 'The Spoon in the Eye Club', a very non-serious club that my crappy forum is named after - great times!

Sure, as long as you realize I, in turn, will come up with my very own "nickname" for you, too. :sneaky:
Don't count on anything as cute as "Cuddles" either.

You'd be surprised my friend.
Some people just seem to see a bad side of me that others don't.
