I'm in the middle of FINALLLLLLLYYYYY cleaning my home, and I just decided to stop midway and walk over to my favorite Irish pub for lunch.

I had a fabulous chat with my neighbor and the bartender, who is also a teacher in my area, about being extra lazy this summer and just loving it:D

The pub grub is delicious. I ordered a yummy grilled, spicy chicken wrap with black olives, feta cheese, lettuce and tommos on a tomato and basil wrap...with old bay spiced fries. I also had 2 glasses of Kendell Jackson Chadonney.....What fun....I must do this more often when the bennys go home.

Oh, and I ordered a few take outs of pizza, chicken wraps and quesadillas to be stored in the fridge for the next week:-6 I'm such a brat today.:o

Now I don't want to work, so I think I'll go to the beach for a bit instead of doing any work....:-6:D

I'm a free woman for another month or so:guitarist

Here's a wikipedia thing with a picture.

Bocconcini - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

They're sold everywhere here and I use them sliced on pizzas or in salad.. where you slice them between slices of tomato and a basil leaf (the colours of the Italian flag). A drizzle of balsamic vinegar completes this simple but fantastic salad.

(PS Sorry I got a bit lyrical there, it's nearly supper time and I'm hungry!! I could murder a plate of that... the bread and oil and a good bottle of red wine)

Well, I WANT some!! Guess I'll have to drive all over town and see if I can find some Bocconcini and if I can't find it here, I'll head over to Trader Joe's in San Diego. I need to go there to replenish my goodies anyway.

Thanks for the tip.

Actually, Kathy and Ducky, that pic was OK size-wise ! :) It only went over the margin by a couple of millimetres ffs! It was a lovely picture so can it be put back. Ducky ?

I only pointed out the pic of the slug that really blew the margin badly ! Apparently it is something to do with technical stuff on the site - a bit above my head really. All I know is that the powers that be need us to avoid badly blowing margins, and this particularly refers to OPs of new threads, which are reproduced automatically on the 'home page' of Forum Garden. As you know, the 'home page' is very critical for room as there are columns of other things either side of the new thread samples - this is where it is particularly important not to blow the margins.

I do hope that you understand better why I mentioned this to you Kathy - it was certainly nothing personal, and I was not 'ticking you off' but was just advising you.

Upsetting you is the last thing on my mind. :(

Hi Kathy, Kaz, Odie, G #Gill, Duckie - The work side of this trip has gone well, and I'm enjoying a relaxed Canberra Saturday. The climate is so different from Sydney - very clear, and very cold, but sunny. It took me ten minutes to de-ice the car this morning. All the doors were frozen shut. I got out in the bush yesterday too. Awesome. Tomorrow morning I'm heading for the snow. Take care!! Catch you when I get back!!
