Glad she's ok. She now has a fine excuse for not having to go out in this appalling weather! Maybe she'll be able to sort out her computer set up and be able to get back online soon to help with the boredom. Daytime TV will send her round the twist :wah:

So it seems Carol. How deep the snow is depends on whereabouts u live here. I have managed to get to work today due to Paul giving me a lift, he has had to work from home as cant get in. My youngest was giving a lift to school but she kept texting me that theres hardly anyone there and some have been going home. The problem is the buses, a lot weren't running.
Anyway i am off tomorrow going to get my haircut.
Glad you had a better conversation with Kaz im sure she appreciated it.
Speak soon.

Kaz, if you have a USB port available on that laptop, you can plug a mouse in there, and so long as you have a plain coloured tray, or something similar, you will probably get on with that a lot better than the 'touch pad'. I use a mouse with my laptop and find it much better than the blinkin 'touch pad'. Maybe the mouse from your desktop pc would work ! Just a thought :-6
Glad to see you back on FG, and just look after that ankle..................... Somebody said you'd got plastered the other day, and here's me thinking you'd been at the sauce !!!! :yh_rotfl

I don't think Kaz has her caravan now.:-3 But in any case, I believe she is going to have a break (oops, sorry Kaz x) a few days in a cottage that they are renting for a little holiday. So long as the flippin weather doesn't put the mockers on it !
She did say in an earlier post any way.
Kaz, I do hope your ankle isn't terribly painful, and you can get some sleep. :-6

I believe you can get leg supports that can slot into the front of a wheelchair, for such incapacities as yours, Kaz, that keep the leg sticking straight out in front (you have to be careful going round corners though :wah:), but I suppose it is too late for you to organise that. :driving: Have a safe journey Monday, and enjoy your break ! :-6

My living room is the length of the house, a living/diner. There is a window at that end, but high up, you need to be on a dining chair sitting upright to look out. I have spent a lot of time sat there studying, but since this cold weather I've had to move the table out of the way of the radiator under that window to get the heat into the room. The table was totally blocking it off, I'll put it back there in the summer. :-6 My bedroom also looks out the back so I can sit in bed and partially see out. The kitchen and bathroom are out the back too, my bathroom window was replaced recently with a frosted window. Prior to that my brother always told me that I was lucky to have such a great view to look at whilst taking a pee, he was always met with a quizzical look (of course he would have a great view, I wouldn't :wah:).

Good morning kaz, BB, Carol & whoever else is alive at this time in the am...6ish am here..getting the kids up for school and it looks to be a nice day here...high in the 40F's. Well sad news is they are going to close our little school come June, so have to go to all these open houses at others schools next week and practically beg one of them to let Quin attend.

Why beg, surely they will know of the closure of Quins school, are they not duty bound to take on the children that will be without a school?
